Porter's Friend Wine Rack (42, 51)
Description
During Prohibition, the railroad carried its fair share of wine and other spirits to keep America from going thirsty, and the porter was pretty much a sure-fire connection for those inclined to imbibe during their travels.
The Porter's Friend Wine Rack features space for five bottles of your most beloved vintage crafted from century-old slices of railroad steel set on a slab of genuine creosote-free cross tie Oak timber.
Our wine racks are crafted from hardwood timbers combined with slices of salvaged rail that has been aged to perfection over the course of 100 years of service. We select the timbers to draw out the unique features of the hardwoods we use and sometimes, we get creative getting the hooks that hold your favorite vintages in order to make the most interesting pieces available.
And since we are a Tennessee-based company, we want to note that they also cradle Jack Daniel's bottles very nicely.
As with all of our work, each piece is cataloged and individually numbered with an authentic railroad date nail and accompanied by a signed certificate providing the provenance of the piece.
Wine and spirits are not included. Get your own.
