Description
The Porter's goal was simple goodness for their passengers. We set out with the same goal in producing our Porter's Friend Hat and Coat Rack.
Crafted from century-old slices of railroad steel and set on a slab of genuine creosote-free cross tie timber, we took a plank cut straight from the exterior of an untreated crosstie for the base.
Then we added five slices of 100-year-old rail cut especially to highlight the wear on the head of the rail.
The result is pure classic.
Each is individually numbered and accompanied by a signed certificate telling you the history behind the materials used in the creation of the piece.
Hats and jackets pictured are not included.

Rail Yard Studios uses reclaimed materials salvaged from historic railroad lines. The individual wear and characteristic features inherent in the service-worn materials provide each piece with its own personality.
