Description

Well-worn and heavily distressed, we crafted this simple bench from a single section of boxcar flooring. It's designed to look like a single continuous piece wrapping from floor on one side to the other end - simple, but so very interesting. The original construction binding the individual boards together is slabbed tongue-and-groove hickory boards. Still visible on the front edge are the aluminum tiloc rods used to construct the flooring. 

The triangular corner gussets been blackened to match and feature the Rail Yard Studios logo.

Rail Yard Studios uses reclaimed materials salvaged from historic railroad lines.
