Crafted from sections of flooring reclaimed from a railroad gondola car, this section of gorgeous tongue and groove hardwood spent the past few decades as the flooring that held coiled rolls of steel weighing up to 60,000 pounds each.
Reimagined as a modern work of art, we've added a hole and a strategic angled cut to create a cantilever stand for a single bottle of wine.
Simply insert the neck of the bottle into the hole such that the bottle extends over the main body of the block of wood.
If the bottle does not extend beyond the edge of the wood, simply flip the wood over and try inserting from the other side.
It works well with full bottles and is well proportioned enough that it works well with many empty bottles (which is all too often the case).
